Application
UMATON SI LIQUID is recommended to add either after the complete preparation of coating mixture when the coating mixture is more or less ready to use, or to add it to the solution of co-binder (PVA, CMC, Starch or Casein) while preparation of coating mixture. It gives better optical properties to the paper surface in terms of Whiteness [CIE], Brightness [ISO], Fluorescence & CIE (L* a* b*) parameters owing to its excellent compatibility with all types of co-binders (PVA, CMC, Starch or Casein) and other ingredients of surface coating formulation, over and above the use of traditional OWA even at higher levels of addition on TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) basis, because of its very high graying limit, where traditional Optical Whitening Agent shows the declined trend.
UMATON SI LIQUID is very useful in developing high brightness paper containing very high levels of fluorescence of international shades, where higher dosage of Optical Whitening Agent is required in surface coating application.
Can be used in Wet End Application.
